On the Road, Once Again

Just sending this pre-blog post out to let you know that we’re traveling again. We left Portland on September 29th and flew to Iceland and then along to Copenhagen. We’re in Copenhagen to visit Nancy’s granddaughter who began graduate school here last month.

After that we’re off to the coast of Croatia for a week long wine tour. That’s followed by a few weeks pursuing John’s dream wine: Barolo in the Piedmont region of Italy; there’s a long story about why it’s his dream wine, but if we find it we’ll tell you more…just for now the story includes a bottle of Barolo wine discovered in a Canadian liquor store, a fantastic dinner of beef Wellington, and a tornado!
