Places We've Been
We've both been to a lot of countries around the world and traveled as "tourists," seeing all the museums, churches, waterfalls, and ruins recommended by friends, Fodors, Lonely Planet, and Rick Steves.
Nancy's claim to travel fame is that she's been to all the continents including the Antarctica. Poor John has only been to four of the seven. Maybe later.
In 2022 we traveled to the Italian boot, Sicily, Mexico, and Panama. We stayed in different cities and towns for extended periods of time. We'll always be tourists of course, but with that trip there wasn't any museums in Florence, or churches in Rome, or Great Walls in China, but more day-to-day normal living---just in another country.​
In 2024 we did a five week trip starting in Portugal, into Spain and finally into the Bordeaux region of France.

In 2025 we spent the winter in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. At the end of September we plan to head to Copenhagen to visit Nancy's granddaughter Yarrow, who is going to grad school in Malmo Sweden. After that we're off to Croatia and then the Piedmont section of Italy.
